Guyana is pumping money into developing its healthcare sector because it wants to guarantee that persons across the country no longer have to travel long distances or wait very long to get medical care. As a guest on the Energy Perspectives Podcast, the country’s Minister of Health Dr. Frank Anthony talks about the government’s plan to build more hospitals and facilities, get more people trained and overall, establish a world-class health sector in Guyana.
