Ignacio is a Senior Director in Wood Mackenzie’s Upstream Consulting and Carbon Management Team, based out of WoodMac’s Houston office.Since joining WoodMac in 2019, Ignacio led the opening of the Buenos Aires office where he was responsible for WoodMac’s Andean Region team. Here, he led a team focused on upstream asset valuation, basin analyses, and play benchmarking across the region.​ As of 2022, Ignacio joined WoodMac’s Americas Consulting team in Houston, where he led projects on portfolio strategy, market entries, and fiscal terms.

Before joining WoodMac, Ignacio was a Senior Manager at Schlumberger Business Consulting in the Mexico City office, leading strategy, operations, and organisational design projects for energy companies in Latin America and Europe.​

Ignacio holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires and an MBA from MIT´s Sloan School of Management.​
