Jay Persaud is the EY Energy-to-Intelligence (E2I) Leader, orchestrating the transformation of energy resources into sovereign AI ecosystems. In this role, Jay brings together energy providers, infrastructure operators, technology suppliers, investors, policymakers, and talent developers to build end-to-end solutions that convert energy into actionable intelligence. He leads EY’s efforts to deliver national-scale AI capabilities, exemplified by projects such as the 100MW AI data center in Guyana, and drives innovation by aligning diverse stakeholders across the energy-to-AI value chain.

Prior to leading E2I, Jay served as EY’s Global Emerging Technology Ecosystem (GETE) Leader, where he managed strategic alliances with AI and data platform companies and investors, expanding EY’s reach across the ecosystem. Earlier in his career, Jay held senior governance and leadership roles including Vice Chair of EY Americas, Presiding Partner of EY Americas and US Partner Councils, and membership on multiple executive committees. With 35 years at EY, Jay is recognized for his inclusive, innovation-driven approach and his commitment to building collaborative networks that drive transformation across industries.
