Carolina Martinez is an accomplished energy leader with nearly two decades of experience driving subsurface innovation, commercial strategy, and energy transition solutions across the Americas. As the Sales Leader for North America at GaffneyCline energy advisory, she oversees business growth and customer partnerships across the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean—helping operators optimize current assets, evaluate investments, and successfully advance both traditional and emerging energy projects.
With a strong technical foundation in geoscience, petrophysics and geomechanics, Carolina has led business in supporting upstream oil and gas development, complex feasibility, pre FEED/FEED, and operational execution studies for a wide range of clients. Her portfolio includes supporting major initiatives in advising companies on strategic project planning, operational optimization, and commercial decision making, as well as CCUS, geothermal, and low carbon development.
Carolina is widely recognized for her ability to bridge technical insight with commercial acumen—coordinating multidisciplinary teams, strengthening strategic partnerships, and guiding customers through high stakes, multi phase projects. Prior to her current role, she spent more than 15 years at Baker Hughes in leadership positions across the U.S., Ecuador, Venezuela, and the Arctic region, earning multiple recognitions for her contributions to technology adoption, service quality, and market expansion.

Carolina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geophysical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar in Venezuela and has authored several industry publications focused on advanced logging technologies and reservoir evaluation.
