Mary Nasief is the General Manager for Well Construction North America Offshore at SLB, a position she has held since 2025. In this role, she leads SLB’s largest Well Construction business unit in the Americas Basin, overseeing offshore and land operations for more than 40 customers across the Gulf of America, Alaska and Eastern Canada.

Mary began her career with SLB in 2011 as a Drilling and Measurements Field Engineer in the United States, and over more than 14 years has built a distinguished record across operations, communications, technical leadership, and executive business management. Her career has spanned multiple countries—including the U.S., Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana, and Suriname—giving her a broad base of operational and cultural experience in both mature offshore basins and rapidly growing energy markets.

Prior to her current role, Mary served as the General Manager for SLB’s Well Construction operations across Guyana, Trinidad, and the Caribbean, where she led the organization with a strong focus on business discipline, regional growth, and top quartile safety and service quality performance. She previously held leadership positions including North America Offshore Drilling Business Line Manager, Well Construction Division Communication Manager, and Account Manager for Shell in the Gulf of America—where she delivered major commercial and operational achievements.

Mary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering from the University of California, San Diego. She is widely recognized for her high energy leadership style, commitment to operational excellence, and ability to unite multidisciplinary teams to consistently outperform business objectives.
