Michael is a Guyanese Attorney-at-law who is employed at the Ministry of Natural Resources as Director of Local Content and Legal Officer within its petroleum unit. He is charged with advancing the country’s ambitious Local Content Mandate enabled by the Local Content Act while simultaneously advising the Government on contract management and negotiation, petroleum regulation, and legislative drafting for Guyana’s burgeoning petroleum industry
