Zeco was founded by Zakir Ally Hack during the year 2001 as a small welding and fabrication shop located at Better Hope, East Coast Demerara. Zeco’s obsession with quality and good customer service would ensure rapid growth in the years ahead as the business built strong relationships with reputable companies. This substantial growth in business necessitated the need for growth in capacity. This need was promptly met by investment strategies which saw the building of a large workshop in the neighboring village of Vhryeid’s Lust and eventually a larger facility at Triumph measuring 56,650 sq. ft. Equipment upgrades and expansion were extensive, considerably increasing Zeco’s ability to perform at high standards and undertake larger projects.
