The Enviromental Protection Agency  (EPA) of Guyana is the national regulatory authority responsible for the protection, conservation and sustainable management of the country's natural enviroment. Est under the Enviromental Protection Act, Cap.20:05, the Agency provides regulatory oversight across keys sectors across including oil and gas, mining,agriculture,manufacture,infrastructure and waste management.

EPA Guyana's core services includes enviromental authorizations and permitting, enviromental, enviromental impact assesment (EIA) review, compliance monitoring and enforcement , pollution control , and emergency enviromental response 

The Agency also provides advance enviromental monitoring tool , including GIS and remote sensing technologies to support data driven decision making and continous oversight of offshore and offshore operations.through public engagement education and inter-agency collaboration the EPA promotes enviromentally responsible development.
