Asian Sealand Offshore & Marine Inc. (“ASOM”) was incorporated in Guyana on 25th March 2022 and has been working offshore in terms of installation of pipes, structures and mooring systems. ASOM identified a shortage of specialized land fabrication services, particularly for pipes made from carbon steel, exotic materials like stainless steel, super duplex, duplex stainless steel, and copper nickel. Additionally, ASOM recognized the need for fabricating offshore light outfitting structures, including handrails, lighting poles, and small platform structures. Since its inception, the Company has fostered strong relationships with the Guyanese community and formed partnerships with local companies across diverse sectors, including the hotel industry, new start-ups, and workshop rentals. ASOM has provided career opportunities for locals and equipped them with essential skills. Going forward, ASOM will be employing Guyanese individuals who are eager to pursue a career in specialized fabrication.
